I'm getting BIG!

No seriously-look at me- I have a baby inside my stomache! And it moves all the time- it's so weird and cool...hmmm. I wondered about wearing this shirt and Scott say, "Well, ya did it last time, and now people can see how far it's moving up on you!" So there you go! We're coming to Halifax for 3 days and we drive in tomorrow...I'm so excited!! Today I'm trying to get laundry together and pack for our little trip- we'll be staying with the Kohlers if anyone wants to get ahold of us.

AND we're trying to redecorate our house a little. Do you have an eye for design? Christine says it's like scrapbooking, but I'm not so sure...she's good at interior design stuff...anyways, here are some swatches we're considering for our living room- we're not a big fan of the colors there now- so what do you think? Let us know- how about we label them swatches A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I and then number them from left to right...eg- Hey dee, H3 looks like a good shade! Ok let us know!

Visits and Valentine's

Hi! This past weekend we had a visit from 2 of our favorite people-Matt and Christine! They were on their way moving back to NS from Montreal with the kids and so they were able to stay with us for a couple days. Unfortunately, a sweet man in our church, Holly, 75, died on Thursday and so it was also a sad time as we had visitations and the funeral at the same time our guests were here. Holly had become very special to us and also his family, some of whom are church members, over the past few months. We were able to be with him and his family when he passed on Thurs. night. He knew the Lord and was anxious to be with him, but of course we will all miss him dearly.

But, the Lord in His goodness must've known we needed some friends at this time, too, and sent M&C our way. We had a great time visiting with them, playing with their kids and monday night, their last night with us, we stayed up late and I was really hyper. We took a wack of pictures, we made Matt dress up as a prophet with toilet paper on his head to try to make us smile for the camera, and I forgot I was pregnant and did a belly flop on the bed- I'm OK, btw:). Anyways, here are some pics to fill you in!:

Christine gave me this cute hooded towel for the baby, which Joseph had to test out first:)

And the Elijah!! He says so much now and so clearly- he's so fun to watch:)
My favorite E -lines: "See ya in another life, brother"(from Lost), and
"Sometimes things are tricky"

Matt, the prophet:)

And my fave, with the grapes.

I don't think it's necessary to celebrate on the 14th- make your own V-day! So on the 13th, Scott and I went to Boston Pizza for dinner and then saw "The Queen", which we both really liked! We had a free coupon for pop and popcorn, too- it was so much fun, I love my husband:)
PS-note our new frames! Scott's were 10 years old, and mine, well, I lost them after Europe...
PPS-only 10 more weeks to go before baby comes, yeah!!! We ordered a crib online today from Sears, thanks to Nanny:) and we'll be getting it in March!

I feel like a teacher!

Hi everyone! Suddenly, I'm getting all kinds of subbing days, which is a real blessing 'cause it's good for me to get out and do something to contribute to our wee community, and gets me out of the house, and of course it's a help financially! Yeah! Today I had grade 4 for the afternoon, and it was really fun- we learned about the continent and the seas (they could name all 15 with a little help- it was amazing! Kids pick things up so quickly. We also did a science experiment which didn't work at all, which was kinda funny. At the end of the day when they were all packed up I passed out little pieces of paper and got each student to write down their name on the back and then a boy and girl name on the other side as suggestions for baby Kohler:) It was so cute, they were pretty excited about it. The most popular names I'd say, were: Brittany, Hillary, Cassidy, Benjamin, Victoria. It was a fun day. By the way, the baby seems to have had a major growth spurt in the past week and now when it moves it's like, huge! The other night I didn't sleep hardly at all b-c the baby was moving SO much and it was so uncomfortable, and pretty overwhelming. Scott got up with me and we watched a Friends at 4am...then I finally went back to bed around 6ish. Anyways, the next day the baby slept all day, of course. But last night went better, and I was so thankful to get a good night's sleep. Does this ring a bell for any of you gals that have wee ones?
