Blogging Backwards

Hello friends and family! It's been a while, I see. What with facebook and all the pictures shared on there, I've been neglecting our Family Blog. But now, as I'm feeling a lot better (recent bad health in summer), I'd like to start blogging again, and hope that some of our usual blog readers will come back and check us out. So here goes. Last post I did was in January. Now it's halfway thru November. So we'll just start here- in Oct/November. If I feel ambitious, I'll work my way backwards to fill in the gaps since January.

Thanks for reading!
Love,
Team Kohler

Owen peeks over our back gate- I love this pic:)
Reading to the babies:)
My good friend Anya hanging with Owen
We decided to make cookies since I founf Emmy a new apron 2nd hand- it was so cute. The cookie making went downhill when I added a cup and not a TBSP of milk to the mix. Hmm. Then I added a ton of flour to make up for it, and basically we ended up with Tea Biscuits:) hehe The whole thing took over an hour, and I let them play with their allotted amount of dough and "make shapes" with it on the table. It was a little stressful (the prep), but I had fun.
They had fun, too.
We did not eat the cookies Owen had 'made'.
I think the main ingredient would've been drool.
Here they are mixing the batter.
The finished product:)

Owen- always the joker:)
Boys and cars
My little boy is getting bigger all the time....
But he still likes to eat dirt and wear daddy's hat.
Our beautiful girl- working in her 'garden', 'cooking' us up something good to eat:)

The other day I had a "break" afternoon and drove to Fredericton and back. Along the way I stopped to take some pictures:
A sun-lit barn-house we always comment on,
and their laundry blowing in the breeze. Looked poetic to me.

That's me. In a field.

Again in the field. Self timer.
This is after I stepped out of the car and fell into a ditch.

Our big girl in her big girl bed (the front half is all open), Still napping a few days a week.
I like this one. Our sweet kids watching "a show".
Emily kissing Triniti's hand (my friend Anya's new baby).
More kisses:)

More to come! I'll keep you posted!
