To my happy surprise, my Aunt Sheelagh from Ireland came to visit my father the same week I was in Hali and we were able to meet up at the Kohler's (with my nanny as well)! Mama K made an awesome supper for us all (as usual:) and we had a great visit together- Sheelagh is really cool and it's so awesome to spend time with an AUNT (since there's no sibs on my mom's side and all my father's sibs are in Ireland:)! It was great to see her and catch up on all the fam in Ireland:) Scott came up to see Sheelagh and to pick me up (since we'd been apart for 8 days) and I was soooo glad to see him again!! I missed him something terrible- BUT we had a great visit with fam and friends and were so blessed to be able to make the trip to CB!
THEN, the day after we got home (also btw I have had larengitis for 3 days now) we packed up again and headed to family camp for the Baptist Assoc. at Green Hill Lake Camp (about an hour's drive). Even though I felt antisocial since I couldn't talk, it was really fun! Esp the bonfire at night where I ate 3 hotdogs and 4 cookies and then had to go for a walk cause I felt so sick..hehe...but it was sooo nice to get away and take Emmy to a camp:) And Scott's never been "camping" either, so it was lots of fun. We had speakers and the kids were split into age groups to play- even Emmy! It was a neat experience, and great to meet new brothers and sisiters in the Lord- yay!
