Owen's B-day, etc

Little Blue Eyes

Owen tries to put on his own coat:)

Learning the art of snow fighting
Owen's B-day! 3 on Nov 25th.  This truck was from the Kohlers:)
Happy B-day buddy!
Anya (with Trin and Myles) and another boy and girl (siblings) who live close by
came over to celebrate during the day with us!
At night, the Flynns came over for some cake!
Owen loved all his presents- his train set here from Nana and Poppy, his lego from Jen and Graeme, his new dresser and train car from Nanny (he LOVED watching daddy put the dresser together- he calls the hammer, "the bang bang").

This is the car track from us- it is so cool. We play with it when they're not looking.
The countdown til Christmas is on!  We arrive in Halifax Sunday night and stay until the 3rd.  Can't wait to see my sis and Ian who are coming out to visit from Vancouver!  Have a great Christmas everyone.  "The One who came, still comes.  The One who Spoke, is speaking still."  Let's listen!:)
Love the Kohlers><>

Halloween, etc. 2011

Thanks, Barb for taking our pictures!

Emily=Princess, Me=Rockstar and yes I own those pants, Scott=Harry Potter (totally!) and Owen is an "O-BOT", like robot without the R- handmade by daddy:)

The kids and their friend Myles- here they are "babies in a crib" being bottle fed by Emily:)

Soooo, I kind of dyed my hair purple!:)

I actually wanted the purple to be more vibrant than this, but I think you'd have to bleach it out first to get that effect- anyways, I'm really happy with my new colors (top and bottom layers):)!

Peek!  Purple on the bottom layers!
A little hard to tell.

Streaky from where I had blonde before...I like it.
And hair down almost hides it entirely.  I'm sneaky I tell ya:)

Vancouver Part 1

Flying over the Prairies! Hi Curtis and Bonnie and family!

Welcome to Vancouver!

Sisters together again!
Granville Market-very fun:)

Mmmmmm.

Oh you know, there are just some mountains over there.

Me and Scott on Granville Island
Meeting up with my old pal Hannah!  She lives there now:)

We loved hanging out with Tony around Regent-  I loved this art as you come in the door.

Tony and Scott- and read the wall- it's cool:)
The atrium at Regent where Tony studied a lot.  What a cool place to visit!

View of the city from Granville- very different from McAdam!:)

Vancouver- Day at Whistler/ Blackcomb Mountain(s)

On the way to Whistler- 1/2 way there there's a place called Squamish- beautiful-
and they had tea, so we had to stop.
Tara and Scottie before our up-the-mountain adventures.
Whistler Village.  I don't think I thought I'd ever see it somehow, but I did. It was hard on Nanny's back to walk much, but we had a really nice time despite it:)
Going up.....

This pic is for John Tingley- there is a major bike track on part of the mountain- people were seriously geared up to do this- even kids!!

This kid looked like one mean-machine.

Up we go on gondola #1- to the top of Whistler
Awesome views- getting colder...
At the top!
Gondola #2 was much sturdier- it goes between the tops of Whistler and Blackcomb- suspended:)  It was crazy, crazy high- I don't think Mama would have liked this at all!:)

Clouds looming
From Blackcomb Mtn we came down by chairlift.
That's right.  Open air, death, etc.
Scott was not OK with this.
He was especially not OK with my taking pictures of the frightening experience:)

The drive home was gorgeous.
Tara and I were in the backseat laughing at something so hard I think we were crying.
It was super fun:)
