November/December 2010

Hi peoples! Here are some pics to catch you all up on our lives until Christmas, they are out of order, but it doesn't really matter- hope you enjoy!

Sunrise over the train tracks
Our friend Leah and Baby Adrian over for a meal
Us over at Leah's and her parents' (our friends Agnes and Frank) house for a meal- with Remare, Leah's husband home from Africa (where they live) for a few weeks.

The kids wanted to see what it would be like to be swaddled again.
They both liked it:)
The kids in a Christmas Sunday School performance- Owen steals the mic.
Preparing for the stage- Emily with baby Jesus:)
Owen, right before the Christmas Eve Service, was found on our lazy-boy chair with an empty bottle of calamine lotion. Good times:)

Emily and I checking out a local music studio-
this is the green room (obviously:) where they do some filming.
Sunset clouds on our street- pretty.
I like clouds- especially the cirrus/stratus variety:)
Me. Soft light from daylight thru curtains is very forgiving and warm:)
Owen and Myles, my friend Anya's boy.

Attempt at family picture which we never sent to anyone. Oh well. Next year:)

Owen and his duckbill lips.
We think they are awfully cute and don't know who he got them from.
The flood. It was bad. 15 inches in the basement,
Anya came over to sulk with me after I called her crying about the flood and the messy state of our house after bringing everything up from the basement.
There's nothing like a friend:)
Pretty girl:)
Hiding spot.
Da boys:)
Winter sun. Or maybe Narnia.
I really like this picture for some reason.
It's looking down our street.
I spent a distracted day braiding my hair. It was tediously fun:)
Me and Emmy show our "angry faces":)

Typical Emmy getting into play- wearing her tutu and "cap hat", riding her bike around the house and carrying her bag of random toys she's packed to got to "Nana's house":)
I was amazed when Emily drew this. It's a face with eyes, pupils, cheeks and a nose. Pretty cool.
Throwing snow around.
We had Scott's parent's come for 2 special occasions- our church's 85th anniversary, and Owen's B-day- turning 2 November 25th!

Owen's trike from Nanny- he was immediately pulling stunts on the thing. He is a hazard to, well, I'd say to himself but he is undeniably well balanced and coordinated, so I guess to his father who is constantly worried about our little stunt man's stunts. Especially the standing up on the bike seat with no hands. And also the "flying" trick.
He is a crazy little man.
Nana helps Emmy open a belated gift (a tea set) from Graeme and Jen, the kids both loved it!
I was not sleeping and holding fire, just a bad pic. Anyways, Happy B-day Owen!!
Happy Family pic:)
Nanny Sent me some clothes- like this jacket which I love and I found this hat at a local craft sale and was very excited about it- only 5 bucks!
Owey
After helping me bake- they watch it cook:)

Puppet show!
Kids at church. Awesome that we get to bring our kids up this way:)
Crazy, sunny hair. She can blame mommy for that.
Another view down our street of God's beautiful creation. Well, that's all for now- but stay tuned, next up will be pics from Christmas and beyond and they will be taken with my new Canon t1i! Very exciting!!!
Thanks for checking in and leave us a comment to let us know you stopped by!
