Vacation Part 3- Seeing Friends!

During our 3 weeks in NS, we were so glad to see so many friends! Lots of people came out to visit us in Lake Echo at Scott's parent's house and meet Emily for the first time (Alicia, Nathalie, Jen and AJ Huffman)! Not a lot to say this time, just that we love our friends and are blessed to have such amazing people in our lives:) We stayed with Devin and Lenore (at their new house!) during the Baptist Convention in Wolfville, which was really nice. Also- it worked out that Danielle was able to come visit us in Lake Echo with Elliot overnight, which was awesome seeing how far apart we live now! All 5 of us went to a BBQ farewell in Lake Echo for our friends Melanie and Tim who are now moved to Boston (we know them thru Scott's dad's church)- we were able to see a lot of our friends from that church, too!

Summer Vacation- Lockeport!

Hi! Our vacation story continues...so for a few days of our vacation, me, Scott, Em and Scott's parents, along with Scott's brother Graeme, wife Jen and 3 kids, Bradley, Luke and Abigail, stayed in a cottage for a few days in the town that Mama Kohler grew up in: Lockeport, NS!
We had tons of fun: the kids played, we went to the beach, we saw Mama's old house and then traveled to West Green Harbour to see where Papa Kohler and his family used to live, too. After all the babes went to bed (except, me, Mama, and Jen, of course:) we all stayed up playing card games and eating health food:). It was awesome to be able to spend time altogether like this...Oh! and Emily laughed for the very first time at the cottage, too!!!
